ABOUT
ABOUT ME
I earned my B.A. in creative writing as a Janet Weis scholar in Susquehanna University's competitive undergraduate writing program. I recently completed my M.F.A. in creative writing from Rosemont College, where my graduate thesis, a compilation of short nonfiction essays, was named Thesis with Distinction in spring 2017.
WHAT I'VE DONE
Throughout my writing career, I have published 15 works of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry in
10 different magazines, books, and journals.
In April 2017, I presented an original personal essay titled "this could be beautiful" at the Radical Writes conference at Arkansas State University.
In August 2019, I presented "Beyond the Binary: Writing Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Characters" at nonfiction conference HippoCamp in Lancaster, Pa.
WHAT I DO
I screen submissions, edit finished pieces, and write copy for literary journals Nat. Brut, Philadelphia Stories, and Hippocampus Magazine. In addition to the latter's magazine, I manage volunteers for their annual nonfiction conference HippoCamp.
In terms of personal writing projects, I'm reworking my graduate thesis, submitting work to more journals, and making progress on my first two novels!
